DiscoverSri uses artificial intelligence to help you explore Sri Lanka — from homepage chat and trip planning to custom tour package drafts and blog assistance. These tools are designed to speed up research and spark ideas. They are planning aids, not professional travel advice, legal advice, or guaranteed offers.
Not a substitute for human confirmation
AI responses and generated itineraries do not constitute a confirmed booking, contract, or final price. Our team reviews requests before quotes and deposits. Always wait for written confirmation from DiscoverSri before making non-refundable travel arrangements.
Accuracy and completeness
AI may produce content that is outdated, incomplete, or incorrect. Examples include:
- Train schedules, seat availability, and reservation rules.
- National park opening times, safari quotas, and permit requirements.
- Road conditions, landslides, protests, or temporary closures.
- Hotel rates, room availability, and seasonal pricing.
- Weather, sea conditions, and safety advisories.
- Visa rules, customs regulations, and health requirements.
- Distances, driving times, and route feasibility during peak traffic.
You must independently verify critical details with official sources, suppliers, or our team before travelling.
Pricing estimates
Custom package pages may show estimated pricing based on configured rates, trip length, and mapping distance data. Estimates can change when routes are refined, suppliers are selected, or market rates move. The estimate is not binding until confirmed in writing by DiscoverSri.
Maps and routes
Route maps and driving distances rely on third-party mapping services. Displayed routes may differ from actual roads used by drivers. Maps may be unavailable if a service is down or place names cannot be resolved.
Personalisation limits
AI suggestions are based on the information you provide and content in our database. It cannot know your full medical history, mobility needs, or budget constraints unless you share them — and even then, you should confirm suitability with our team.
Fallback behaviour
If AI services are temporarily unavailable, DiscoverSri may show a simplified local fallback itinerary so the website remains usable. Fallback content is generic and should be treated as a starting point only.
Data use in AI sessions
Chat content may be stored briefly to restore your session and to prepare custom packages you request. See our Privacy Policy for retention details. Do not share sensitive information (passport numbers, payment card details, medical records) in chat.
No warranty
AI outputs are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DiscoverSri disclaims liability for losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
