These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of discoversri.com and related services operated by DiscoverSri ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Our services
DiscoverSri provides:
- Travel inspiration, destination guides, and blog content about Sri Lanka.
- An AI-assisted trip planner and homepage concierge to help shape itineraries.
- Tools to request custom tour packages, tour quotes, and vehicle hire.
- Booking status tracking and communication with our team.
We are a travel planning and facilitation service. Unless explicitly stated in a written confirmation, we are not the direct operator of every hotel, transport provider, or activity on your itinerary.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit booking requests or enter into arrangements through our platform. By using the site, you confirm that you meet this requirement or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Accounts and guest access
Most features work without a registered account. We may assign a visitor token so your AI chat and booking progress can continue across sessions. You are responsible for keeping your contact details accurate and for any activity associated with your device.
Quotes, availability, and pricing
Prices, routes, vehicle availability, hotel options, and activity schedules shown on the website or generated by AI are indicative only. Final quotes are confirmed by our team after review. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors and to update content as suppliers change rates or availability.
Custom package estimates may use distance and duration calculations from mapping services. These are planning estimates, not binding offers, until confirmed in writing by DiscoverSri.
Bookings and payment
Submitting a request does not create a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when we explicitly confirm it and any required deposit terms are met. Payment links may be provided through external secure payment providers; their terms apply when you complete payment.

AI-generated content
AI itineraries, chat responses, and package drafts are planning tools subject to the AI disclaimer. You must verify critical details — visas, train seats, park permits, weather, road conditions, and health requirements — before relying on them for travel decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems.
- Submit false contact information or impersonate another person.
- Use AI outputs to harass, spam, or generate harmful content.
- Reproduce large portions of our content for commercial use without permission.
We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
Intellectual property
Website text, branding, photographs, layouts, and software are owned by DiscoverSri or our licensors. You may view and print content for personal travel planning. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
Third-party links and services
Our site may link to maps, payment pages, WhatsApp, or partner websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or service quality unless we explicitly act as your booking agent for that component.
Disclaimer of warranties
The website and AI tools are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DiscoverSri is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to the amount you paid DiscoverSri for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if no payment was made, whichever is greater where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify DiscoverSri against claims arising from your misuse of the website, breach of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
