What is the cancellation policy for a Discover Sri Lanka tour?
The advance fee is refunded in full with 30 days notice, 80% with 14 days, and 40% with 7 days. Inside 7 days there is no refund. Date changes are possible.
The refund applies to the advance fee, which is the deposit paid to secure the tour.
Tell us in writing 30 days or more before the tour date and we refund 100% of the advance fee. From 14 days up to 30 days, the refund is 80%. From 7 days up to 14 days, the refund is 40%. Fewer than 7 days before the tour date, or a no-show, is not refunded.
Date changes are possible at any point. The new date depends on hotel and vehicle availability and may change the price. We confirm the change in writing.
A written confirmation can still deduct a supplier cost that cannot be recovered, for example a peak-season hotel or a safari booking.
