Tour highlights
Hike through tea country to the views from Little Adam’s Peak
Walk to the historic Nine Arch Bridge surrounded by forest
See Ravana Falls from a safe public viewing area

How the day works
The sample route starts at 8:00 AM and finishes at about 6:00 PM. Times may change because of your hotel location, traffic, weather, trail conditions, and the opening hours of the tea estate. The tour is private, so reasonable adjustments can be made during the day.
Little Adam’s Peak is an easy to moderate walk, but it includes slopes and steps. Reaching Nine Arch Bridge also requires walking on an uneven path. Guests should wear suitable shoes and tell us in advance about mobility concerns.
Optional Ella Rock route
Ella Rock is a longer and more demanding hike than Little Adam’s Peak. It must be requested before the tour and requires suitable weather, footwear, and fitness. To keep the day safe and within 8–10 hours, this hike will replace several stops from the standard itinerary rather than being added to the full route.
Responsible travel
Please stay on marked paths, take all litter away, avoid disturbing wildlife, and respect people working in tea estates and villages. The route supports local tea businesses and uses one appropriately sized private vehicle for the group.
Before you go
Bring comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and a light rain jacket.
The hills can be cool, wet, or misty even when Ella town is sunny.
A train passing over Nine Arch Bridge cannot be guaranteed because schedules may change.
Waterfall flow varies by season. Swimming at Ravana Falls is not part of the tour and may be dangerous.
Tea estate and factory visits depend on operating days and opening hours. A scenic alternative will be offered if the planned site is closed.
Standard pickup is from Ella, Badulla, or nearby hotels. Pickup from Colombo or Bandaranaike International Airport is not included in this day tour.
