Return to Sigiriya for the night.
Day 3
Sigiriya, Dambulla and Matale to Kandy
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress early, before the strongest heat. Explore its gardens, ancient fresco area, Mirror Wall and summit ruins. Continue to Dambulla Cave Temple, where historic caves contain Buddhist statues and painted walls. Visit a spice garden to learn about local plants, followed by the colorful Muthumariamman Hindu Temple in Matale. Continue to Kandy for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Kandy City Tour

A gem museum or showroom visit can be included without any requirement to buy. Walk through the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya and finish with a traditional Kandy cultural dance show. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 5
Kandy to Ella Through Tea Country
Drive into the central hills and stop at Ramboda Falls. Visit a tea factory in the Labookellie area to learn how Sri Lankan tea is made and enjoy a tasting when available. Continue through Nuwara Eliya, with time near Gregory Lake and the historic post office. Board the train at Nanu Oya for the scenic journey to Ella. Train seats are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed until confirmed. Overnight in Ella.
Day 6
Ella Bridges, Peaks and Optional Adventure
Visit Nine Arch Bridge early in the day and walk through the green hill-country landscape. Hike Little Adam's Peak for wide views over the surrounding valleys. Active guests can also attempt the longer Ella Rock hike, while others may choose the optional Flying Ravana zip-line or a relaxed afternoon in Ella. Activities may be adjusted for weather and fitness. Overnight in Ella.
Day 7
Ella to Yala via Ravana Falls
Leave Ella and stop at Ravana Falls before traveling toward Tissamaharama and Yala. In the afternoon, join a jeep safari in Yala National Park. The park is home to elephants, deer, crocodiles, birds and leopards, but no particular sighting is guaranteed. Overnight near Yala or Tissamaharama.
Day 8
Yala to Mirissa
Travel west along the southern coast to Mirissa. Visit Coconut Tree Hill for ocean views, subject to safe access and local conditions. Explore the waterfront or working fishing area when active, then enjoy free time on Mirissa Beach. Overnight in Mirissa.
Day 9
Mirissa, Galle and Madu River to Bentota
An optional whale-watching trip can be arranged early in the morning during the usual season, generally from November to April. Trips depend on sea conditions, and whale sightings are not guaranteed. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort for a guided walk through its historic streets and ramparts. Visit a responsible turtle conservation centre if suitable welfare standards are met, then take an optional Madu River boat ride near Balapitiya. If the whale trip finishes late, some afternoon stops may need to be shortened. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 10
Bentota to Colombo and Departure
